
Tobias Adrian
Tobias leads the IMF’s work on financial sector surveillance and capacity building, monetary and macroprudential policies, financial regulation, debt management and capital markets. Prior to joining the IMF, he was a Senior Vice President of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, and the Associate Director of the Research and Statistics Group. Mr Adrian has taught at Princeton University and New York University, and has published in economics and finance journals, including the American Economic Review and the Journal of Finance. His research focuses on the aggregate consequences of capital market developments.

Dong He
Dong He is Deputy Director of the Monetary and Capital Markets Department (MCM) of the International Monetary Fund. He started his career in 1993 when he joined the World Bank through the Young Professionals Program and was a staff member of the IMF from 1998 to 2004. Prior to re-joining the IMF in October 2014, he was Executive Director at the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, responsible for directing research and policy advice on issues relating to the maintenance of monetary and financial stability and the development of financial markets. He was also Director of the Hong Kong Institute for Monetary Research. He holds a doctorate in economics from the University of Cambridge. He has published extensively on macroeconomic and financial market issues. His current research interests include the interactions between monetary policy and financial regulation, and digitisation of money and finance.

Aditya Narain
Aditya Narain is Deputy Director in the IMF’s Monetary and Capital Markets Department (MCM) with oversight responsibilities for MCMs work on financial supervision and regulation and for its technical assistance function. He has contributed extensively to the international discussions on the development of financial sector supervisory policies, and represents MCM on the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision. He is also the Fund’s representative on the Board of Directors of the Toronto Centre and on the Governing Council of the FIRST initiative. He has led several FSAP missions, most recently to the United States and Canada; and has provided technical assistance to a wide range of the Fund’s member countries. Before joining the IMF, he was with the Reserve Bank of India’s Department of Banking Supervision.
