Nada Choueiri
Nada Choueiri is the mission chief for India at the International Monetary Fund since September 1, 2021. Prior to that, she was mission chief for Malaysia and Singapore. Her career at the International Monetary Fund spans 23 years, during which she worked on a range of countries in Emerging Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, and spent several years in the Office of the Deputy Managing Director as advisor. While on leave from the International Monetary Fund during 2014-15, she was lead economist for Algeria and Libya at the World Bank.
Anne-Marie Gulde-Wolf
Anne-Marie Gulde-Wolf, a German national, is a deputy director of the Asia and Pacific Department. She oversees the department’s work and policy priorities on South Asian countries (Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Sri Lanka); several East Asian countries (Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam), and department work on financial sector issues. Before joining the department in 2019, she was deputy director in the African Department and earlier in the European Department. She has published widely on international economics, with a focus on exchange-rate regimes, currency boards, and financial stability and development issues.
Tara Iyer
Tara Iyer is an economist in the Global Financial Stability Analysis Division of the IMF’s Monetary and Financial Markets Department, where she contributes to the Global Financial Stability Report. Tara’s current research focuses on issues related to mutual funds, crypto assets, and monetary policy in emerging markets. Prior to joining the IMF, Tara worked at the Asian Development Bank and was a fellow at Harvard University.
