Bill Hayton is an associate fellow with the Asia-Pacific Programme at Chatham House in London and the editor of the academic journal ‘Asian Affairs’. Bill worked for the BBC for 22 years until January 2021 in a variety of broadcasting roles including periods with BBC World TV, BBC World Service Radio and the BBC News Channel.
